What do we think of what? is there supposed to be a picture?

Make sure it qualifies for the primitive season in your state, assuming that it is your intent to get that extra time. Mossberg has a similar deal for their 500 shotgun, i bleve. I'm fairly certain MS doesn't allow it. pretty cheap, though.

Walmartyr- welcome- see the underlined ROSSI? That is a link- click on that, you get the page on the gun, mit der pitcher. When you get a chance, stop over by the intro thread and say hello.

Wmille- Rossi has been making better stuff over the past several years- if you state permits for primitive season, go for it. The right muzzle loader will surprise you with the accuracy to about 150 yards- beyond that it will depend on how well you can estimate range- drop of the bullet resembles arc of a garden hose spraying water. If you are planning to shoot saboted bullets, check with their customer service on rate-of-twist to see what they got.

My charcola burners are sidelock traditional types- DEADLY with a lead maxi, dang near useless with sabots- too light for the twist.

As long as it loads from the muzzle I don't see why not. They allow breech loading single shots with smokeless powder. The H&R Handi Rifles are real popular.
