Default What type of ammo ?

I have a Uberti 1858 Remington New Army, and am thinking of getting a conversion cylinder to allow using center fire .45 cal ammo.
I have a Ruger New Vaquero .45 Colt, and I reload for it. I have been loading 250 gr laser cast lead, with 8.4 g Unique, and 6.2 g Bullseye.
My question is can I shoot these rounds after conversion, or do I need to load a little less powerful round ?
Any ideas would help, thanks.

You should be ok with those. Just keep velocity under 1000 FPS.

HG - what Hawg
says is good advise. I have a Pietta 58 Remington with Taylor Arms conversion cylinder, shoots well with my reloads around 900 fps .

Thanks, guys for your reply. My loads have been in the 785 to 840 fps, so I guess I'll stick to that when I do the conversion.
