My father came across a beautiful flintlock rifle . Maslin warranted was on the lock and w.g. Crump # 71 was on the barrel any help please help with any information .

Maslin was a lock maker. A very popular lock maker that worked out of Baltimore MD from 1822-1833 and in Philadelphia PA until 1847.A lot of repro gun locks are marked Maslin.
