Uberti .36 Remington Navy Model , pics

Here is a close look at the Uberti .36 Remington Navy Reproduction .
It weighs several ounces more than the standard .44 Remington New Model Army by the way .
It doesn't come with these grips , they are mine in Canary Wood .
This revolver is the cream of the crop of Navy repros out there . The Piettas don't even come close in quality . DGW only lets you buy one of these , supply and demand sets that standard with Uberti only putting out limited supply with high demand . They are not cheap either , BONUS , not ! :D
This is my second one and its unfired as of yet , someday though .
I can say they are darn accurate with the heavy barrel they use . More metal than the .44 version and very stable platform for accuracy that way .
The other nice thing is they dovetail the front sight and dovetail the loading lever latch that you will see in the pictures . That is one thing Pietta does not do . Not too mention how finely finished this Uberti is compaired to Piettas version . But at $100 more than the Pietta , it goes without saying this revolver is mucho nicer . And the trigger pull is to die for crisp with no creep either .

Enjoy the piccys :

Thanks Towboater , and I wouldn't be looking forward to 21 days straight either on a dangerous river in the Winter . Especially with a buttload of new toys to shoot ! :D
But , it gives you something to look forward to when you get back home .
Plus you need to go make money , and in this economy you are one of the fortunate sons that actually has work ;)
Safe journeys :D
