Default Steam Cleaning your Gun

Has anyone ever tried hooking up a steam cleaner to their gun to clean it? The steam gets very hot and can clean very well, are there any disadvantages to doing this?

Yeh, you will burn your hands It would probably work if you wanted to go to all that trouble. Just be sure you get it dry and oil it right away. It will start rusting quickly. Another thing, I know you do or should know this, but don't steam clean the wood.
