YES! it was once part of a large battery of hailguns, before aircraft were used to seed clouds with Silver iodine people, mostly in the Alpine regions of South Germany, Austria and Switzerland loaded them up with Blackpowder and cloud salt to force threatening clouds to rain off thus preventing massive crop damage.
