Is it one of those clubs from an old school sailing ship, like in all the pirate movies? When not being used for clubbing, i bleve they were stays for ropes. Of course, i never noticed a metal one.

If it is a cannon, i wanna see a vid of it firing, preferably at dusk.

It looks like it has a touchhole to light a charge at the bottom, but i just don't know. It would make a cool brick for the door facing.

Is it a signal mortar used to call out the harbor master/customs officer when a tall ship entered a foreign harbor?
