Need help identifying a flintlock removable barrel pistol

I have a flintlock removable barrel pistol with no name on it. Just the number 16540 on it. Can someone please tell me how I could identify the pistol. I can send pics .

Yep, the smart people will need some pictures for the ID.

If it isn't so old, the flintlock will narrow it down some, i'd bet.

Does it look like any of these current production models: http://www.dixiegunworks.com/default.php?cPath=22_92_187_188

Those aren't screw barrels. I think what she's referring to are what's commonly called a ladies muff pistol like these.

They were made by the thousands in England and Belgium. Birmingham and Belgian guns weren't very good quality. The ones made in London were better. Value is nominal.
