I have no idea what this gun would be used for besides reenactment right? Its a kit and has never been put together but it dosnt even have a year on the box...can anyone help me?

Similar to the CVA kits from the same period (1970s). About $50. Great for the 4th of July, Guy Fawkes Day, getting those damned kids OFF your lawn (just kidding on the last)

Lea, not to be cute, but "run it" for what? Date of manufacture? No. Black powder guns fall outside the 1968 Gun Control Act- record keeping not required under Federal law. Run for stolen? Ah- that is the NCIC database- open ONLY to LEOs, not the public.
