DefaultLitheum Grease or Graphite?

Has anyone tried Litheum grease or graphite inside a BP revolver? What are your experiences with it?

What is it supposed to do? Just a general lubricant?

I used the lithium grease over the chambers once, worked ok, but I prefer malt-o-meal to seal the chamber mouths.
