Kirst Kartidge Konverters

Anyone have any experience with these? Ive got an 1858 Remmington replica, Pietta .44, and have been seriously toying with the idea of buying one. Wondering if anyone here has anything to say about them.

Papa -- never used the Krist but love my Taylor Arms converter. I to have a Pietta Rem 58 , just keep a eye on the timing. Mickey

Don't know how to do that links thing, but here is pix. Looked at Taylor's & CO & Kirst Konverters web sites this AM , Kirst has whet my appetite with that load gate & extractor but I still like my Taylor's. Mickey

Also have Taylor's conversion for 58 New Army

Love it. Taylor's fit like a glove right out of the box. Pick up some snap caps in 45 colt as you don't want to dry fire the conversion cylinder without them, unless you slide some leather in as a block.

Can swap cylinders in about 10 seconds.

Be sure to buy cowboy ammo.

The 1858 New Army Remington is my new favorite old gun! :D
