DefaultI need help & info please - Double Barrel Musket Inherited

I have a musket and its a double barrel. It says in small writing montgomery, which may be the type of musket it is?? I have no idea.

It has the initials of my great grandfather on it carved in as well. How much do you think that this is worth? I have a bunch of pictures. Does anyone know any sites or any info at all about this?? I would really appreciate any info and help. I have no idea where to go or look. Thank you so much in advance.

Are you sure it is a musket and not a double barrel shotgun made by Montgomery Ward? If you posted some pics of it you may get some better answers, and you should probably stop by the introduction section and introduce yourself.

Well the pictures are a little fuzzy and I can't see where it breaks at all, so it is probably a Muzzle Loading shotgun. I have a Geo. Fisher that looks like it in 12ga, but it breaks open. It has Damascus barrels and is pretty solid for it's age. If yours actually breaks open like a shotgun, it doesn't seem to show in the pictures. More info would be nice.
