Default Cleaning Tips

I am attempting to clean an inherited weapon, I was wondering if anyone could please share their cleaning tips and cleaning processes for blackpowder and musket guns. Thank you

Black Powder residue is water soluable (sp). So all I use is warm water and a barrel brush, with a light coat of oil afterwords to prevent rust. That's why I love my Flintlock, it's easy to maintain.
