Default Can anyone identify this BP rifle?

Hi all. I am brand new to the forum, and I am brand new to BP hunting. I have some experience with Rev. War era muskets from 5 years of doing living history reenacting as a kid.

My best guess concerning this rifle is that it is a kit gun from the 1960s or 1970s. The barrel is stamped "SPAIN" on the left side directly opposite of the nipple. Every part of the gun is stamped "46." Any information would be greatly appreciated!

CVA Kentucky rifle made by Jukar in Spain. You're right it was a kit gun.

Thanks for the quick response Hawg! Do you have any information on the quality of these kits as far as safety is concerned? Also, the rifling is pretty shallow. How much does this affect accuracy?

They're safe and shoot pretty good. Not top quality by any means but a pretty decent gun to play around with.
