You're just angry I get paid to pull stuck round balls from people like you and that buying a CO2 sprayer wasn't part of my overhead. Lmfao

Rolleyes
We hunted with spears for thousands of years before the accurate firearm was developed. Yet most of us don't hunt with spears. It is a lot easier to blow a ball out of the barrel in 10 minutes than spend 20 hours trying to pull it out.

Alright my sons- please cease the squabbling- if you read the posts prior to yours, neither the ball puller not the CO2 discharger will work right now- SINCE THE BALL HAS A HOLE ALL THE WAY THROUGH IT. From earlier attempts to pull the ball.

Normally I would suggest pushing the ball all the way back, and trickle a few grains of powder in thru the flash hole (poke with toothpick) but again, THAT will not work with a ball that no longer seals the bore. The ball puller CAN tear out of the ball, especially if the bore is fouled.

At this point the easiest fix is likely a length of threaded rod. Grind the end to a point and work it into the ball. Thread it through the ball and pull.

Worst case scenario completely destroying the ball is always an option.

I tried pulling the breach plug once; next time, i will just go ahead and throw the barrel into the creek and skip the plug struggle.
