The actual speed was around 120 or 150 mph terminal velocity or something like that,but I was not impressed with their tests using nothing but 9mm target ammo(115gr),I actually wrote to them in like 2006 and asked why didn't they use something heavier but never got a response.I will guess and jump to say that at terminal velocity of those 9mm would produce somewhere in the vacinity of 15 ft lbs energy coming down,as where a very common 12 gauge slug is 4x's heavier,and 60ft lbs of energy will kill ya.I guess to me I don't know if I would think an angle or a straight fall will change terminal velocity,it's still falling from enough height either way to achieve terminal velocity.

I didn't intend for this discussion to get sidetracked. I was just making the point that a muzzleloader could kill at that range but they do have 1000 yard black powder open sighted matches for both bpcr and muzzleloaders. My P53 Enfield with the sights adjusted to 300 yards is dead on the money at 300. I've never shot it past that.

got out of the woods a few days ago on the last day of the season...shot mine off at the base of a tree stump 20 yards away.

But...this has happened before...LA new years a decade or two ago...partiers shot their guns in the air and it killed a woman something like a mile away
