Get a dog and an 8 month supply of food for it. Tactical .22? Tactifool. Have you ever read about why the U.S. Military went w/ the 1911 and .45acp? Do some research. I have a big dog and keep a 1911a1 in 10mm by my bed.

I would have a tough time deciding which gun to pick for an intruder. I own a Remington 870 and a 10/22. But I'd most likely go with my 870 cuz its easier to load

The .22 for HD/SD is a debate that's been beat to death. My buddy "Willfully Armed" said it best, he never met a person who has been in a gunfight and said they wished they had a smaller caliber....just get a 18 1/4 inch. barrel Remington 870 and get a good night sleep....

I'm just saying you'd have to be dumb to stand on the other end of 50 .22 LR bullets at close range like a house.

The thing I don't understand is why anyone want's to pay extra money to get a "tactical" .22 to begin with. Other than the cool factor. As far as standing in front of 50 .22 LR bullets a Ruger 10-22 will get you there for a bunch less bucks. Maybe its the tight wad, budge conscious side of me.

The Ruger doesn't even qualify as Tactical, ammo capacity is too low

A Calico is the way to go for "Tactical .22lr" 100-rds per Mag of Rimfire Luvvin!!

I'm pretty sure 10 round mag on a Ruger will get the job done lol...a couple well placed shots will take anything down. Especially close range.

The key is to disengage the threat...not spell your name in its corpse lol
