The smith and wesson m&p 15 22 will feed anythinhg i shoot. I use iron sights and consistantly can hit quarter size targets at 25 yards. i cant say that about some of the other more expensive others.

Does the BX-25 mag work on aftermarket stocks for the 10/22? I'm in New York and can't get 25 rd clips.

Kel-Tec SU-22 Factory Configuration: 320$
S&W M&P 15-22 Factory Configuration: 400$
Sig 522 Factory Configuration: 400$
Remember: each has good sights, but only the 10/22 and S&W have a lot of rail options.
Personally, i would either want a 10/22 or the M&P 15-22.
If you have a gun you think should be on this list feel free to post it. Also, if you have pics of your .22 feel free to post them!

For the money the 10/22 is the best, but without the muzzel mount. Also look into muzzelite bullpup stocks for it. Never used em but they look cool. The best in the selection is probably the m&p22.

Yes, the BX25 mag will work just fine.

I have a 10-22 and an M&P. For a tac type weapon I prefer the M&P by a large margin. Easier to clean, not as picky on ammo, dont have to modify, better iron sights and a threaded barrel. 25 round mags are about $20. You can co-witness your sights if you want. I have put a lot of rounds through the Rugers in both stock and modified form and they are great guns but I like the M&P better.

I was also thinking the same thing... a .22, no matter how nicely customized, would not be what I grab first if a meth head is breaking into my house.
