I look every so often as more of an "If I see something worth it, I'll get it to keep it away from Gougers who would Re-Sell it for Maximum profit. Complaining about it to managers and Regional CS people does no good. As for "general Shopping" we have it down to once every 4-6 weeks to go there anyway. I have three quality Supermarkets a short drive away(Fry's, Safeway, and Bashas') plus two organic places, and a food Co-OP we joined..

It doesn't need to go away until this is no longer an issue

I haven't shot my .22's in a long time now. Been shooting the 30.06 though i have about 500 rounds of .22 left just sitting around, waiting, collecting dust. Been making a lot of beer though, one of my many other hobbiesimageuploadedbyfirearms-talk1400041770.880359.jpg

I'm on a Very SMALL Pension + SS Disability, so I have to spend wisely. It does not make sense to me to drive 2+ hrs. to Kingman just to get a Gun that no one In My Area has, when I have one dealer 20 Mins. Away who has Vintage & MilSurps, another 15 Minutes away who has the Most Affordable Ammo, and a third still closer who gets me the Best Fair Prices on whatever .22 Ammo I want. Thats called Common Sense Shopping, which applies to any product category you'd like to submit.

To make things clear Davidsons seldom has anything in stock that I cannot buy at Walmart, at least online. I have bought one gun from Davidsons, a Mossberg 500 combo. The FFL owed me a favor and gave me a $75 rebate (his profit). So I got the combo for a good price and sent the POS Remington Express on the express route down the road.

That's Different John. Thanks for clearing that up. I don't buy Collectables anymore. I inherited some, and am currently liquidating several. I currently limit myself to 2-3 guns a year maximum, unless I sell some. 25% of what I sell goes into new purchases! the rest goes in the bank.
The only two Guns I have bough in Wally in the 2+ years I'm here are the 702 & the SA-20...because Wally had the best price on both those items, and the Shotgun was a Flex-Combo, 2 stocks with Bantam to full length spacers, and 2 Barrels(21.75" Combat and 26" target/Bird hunting barrel), and 5 chokes...
