It seems 22 ammo is a growing still harder to get. I work in a retail store and everytime we get a batch of cheap win. Ammo in there is a waiting list.. I never in my life thought there would be a shortage of 22 long rifle ammo. Still have a couple thousand rounds left. No more rattling off 500-600 rounds in a afternoon with my 10/22 stainless.

Plenty of 22lr Federal 550 per box @ 23.77 in the Walmart in Schererville IN. Didn't need any but bought a few boxes of .30-30.

.22 pretty much doesn't exist in mid eastern Kansas. Hasn't for well over a year.
A 2 or 3 box/person on everything but shotgun shells is the norm and has been for ages.

The local gun shop in town here has a lot of 22LR in 50 and 100rd boxes at $5 and $10 a box and it don't look like there's to many takers at 10 cents a rd. Especially when the local Walmart is selling for just under 5 cents a rd. when available.

I haven't seen 22 in Walmart in Kansas for 1 1/2 years. Pawn shops are it and it runs 5-10 buck per 50.
Which means I only shoot 50 rounds at a time anymore. Mostly at squirrels or just plinking in the yard.
