I went to Walmart today. one of the employees told me they were getting 22 ammo in they had four boxes of 1000 rounds for $50 coming off the truck!!! so I waited and some guy came in and through a huge ass fit. then started cussing out the employees
he then went straight to the manager lied and said he had been waiting for two hours for ammo . They had a three box limit so he called his wife over and made her by the last box after hearing me say i was waiting for 22 ammo as well!!

4000 rounds of 22 LR ammo!! The employee said he Will be back in tomorrow if they get another shipment of ammo and buy them out again!!

I have 100 rounds of 22 LR Stinger ammo and 90 rounds of 22 Long i've been searching for ammo for 9 months now

I called and complained and thay will reserve a box on the next shipment for me and I hope they kick this ass out of Walmart permanently

I should also add that my last 500 rounds of 22 ammunition was used to teach new people how to shoot a gun

I just have that feeling 22LR ammo will come back,

like the sunshine at the climax of a movie with a happy

ending.

Gee, I wonder what will have to happen, for us to get to the

end of the movie...

well, i simply cannot believe how long this 22 drought has lasted. virtually everything else is back at OK prices.

last summer, during the height of this 22 drought....i found ONE PLACE that seemed to get bulk 22 regularly at a decent price. i dropped by every chance i could and got my 1 box limit. i am now fairly secure in 22, having about 2K rounds to burn.

since then, my thought has been "well, if i come across it, i will just buy what i use..." well, i have seen almost NOTHING since then!

i saw 50 round boxes of CCI at gander that were silly overpriced. i passed, but others certainly were not....they were buying them like it was the best sell they have ever seen!

how long is this gonna last? how much 22 do some people need?????? i was considering investing in another 22 rifle, but it doesn't seem smart at this point.....

You really don't have to work that hard to accumulate a lot of ammo. I haven't bought any 357 mag ammo in a long time. I counted 357 ammo yesterday. I still have 950 rounds of 357 mag ammo.

I haven't felt the pinch of the current rimfire shortage yet. When ammo was $18 or less for a box of 550 I bought a box or two every time I saw it. I need to have a lot of rimfire ammo on hand. My wife and daughter will shoot 500 rounds over the course of a weekend. A happy wife makes for a happy home.
