If you want to shoot to 200 + yds, you can install a 20 or 25 moa scope mount. Some rifles are drilled from the factory or you can have your gunsmith drill & tap the reciver.

One thing you may know but I didn't see it mentioned is to mount a "hi-power" scope you need rings that fit a .22 scope base (5/8") and also fit the scope (1" or 30mm).
