Went to several places locally yesterday, the only thing available in a .22lr was the high roller 50rds for $20 stuff! Can't even find a semi-auto .22 rifle around here! Guess I should have bought before Christmas 😞

LGS had a couple of the ruger 10/22 models; however, ammo is not available, even the 50 round packs. Seen alot of the 10/22 shorts!

Well boys, hows about I tell you where you can get it?

http://www.woodburyoutfitters.com/category_s/1839.htm

They have a few varieties of CCI still in stock. I bought 1000 rounds today and cost with shipping got a little high at $94.85, but they are instock and says next day shipping. About 300 boxes of CCI left last I looked. I also ordered about 800 rounds from Palmetto State last week, but they are so behind on shipping I don't expect to see the rounds this month.

Just came from Sportsman's Warehouse, the pistol wall had a Tristar 9mm, S&W .40, forgot the brand of the 10mm and the rest were .22 pistols. Some semi-auto in the lower case, a few!

Ammo, limit of 3 boxes per caliber. Very limited on .38, 45 ACP, 50 boxes of 20 rounds of 7.62 x 39 TULO Ammo, no 5.56/.223, no 9mm, good selection of shotgun ammo, some .380, .32. Did not look down the rifle ammo; however, the staff advised not to - it was bad.

Ammo comes in on Thursday and the shelfs remain bare!

I forgot to add, while I was shopping someone where he can get .22LR ammo? I advised the check each store in the area, check online and also, Thursday's at this store is truck day, check then.

Also, 30-06 is starting to become rare ammo!

I went to 5 stores today to buy some 22lr and 9mm. None to be found. Went to buy online 500 rds of 22lr for about $40, but the shipping was $35! So I didn't... :-(

The Left-Wing conspirators bought all the ammo - the Right-Wing conspirators bought all the guns. The folks in the middle are waiting for something to give!

Now ya'll see why I went with a high power 22cal Air Rifle instead of getting a semi-auto/bolt action 22lr rifle.
I got 1000 .22cal pellets from Pyramyd Air with my air rifle purchase for $27 bucks and this gun has plenty of power to take small game out to 40 yards all day long and it's QUITE too. Oh, and I can practice in my garage if it's raining outside, can't legally do that with a 22lr in most places but you can with an air rifle.

I went to a LGS and the Gander Mountain in MI and both had only the obscure caliber ammo. No primers, little powder, no 22lr, almost no semi auto rifles. They both had plenty of pistols.
Gander usually had piles of bulk pack 22 but the shelf was bare save a few 22 shorts and 22 mag.
I took one of the two boxes of bullets they had left which was 100 Hornady SP 308. The other box was .270. They had no primers or other reloading components.

Now THAT is getting bad. I normally do worry too much about finding loaded 9x19mm since I "roll my own" but when you can't find powder or primers, wow. I'm glad I picked up 1K of CCI small pistol and a fresh lb of Unique. Also got 1K of Berry's 100gr HBRN plated bullets too, now if I can pick up some 9x19mm brass at the local shooting area I can load up some ammo.
