I agree, if you are actually gonna need them then knock yourself out,, but just to drive demand by buying up all stock seems overkill.

Just wnated to post an update. Where I live, we alot of Sporting Goods Stores and mom & pop shops. I it is plain ugly, weapons are moving off the shelf, ammo (357, 9mm, 38 Special, 223, 22LR, 308, 30-06 to name a few) shelves are empty.

Sportsman's Warehouse had ammo come in, they had 2 carts full of 9mm 250 boxes - Remington UMC (Yellow box), within minutes they were gone. Less than a few hours after word got out that they had .22LR 39 gr 375 rd box, was gone.

Weapons folks are buying, sight unseen. Word is, they see on display they want it now!

Folks, 2008 was not this bad!

I was at Dicks on Tuesday. They had a bunch of CCI SV .22 LR. I know lots of folks like that ammo including me. I bought another brick just because I could. I don't like the fact it's gone up $10 a brick in the past 4 years but I still buy it at $30 a brick. I've got a bunch of it on my boat but that safe is starting to make that boat a little iffy about floating.

If you have a complaint with them how about mentioning what it is? If you're talking about them stopping sales I didn't even know they did that until today. It's not like I follow their every move checking out what they do. They're already back to selling guns so it must not have been too bad.

Dicks was one of the first, along with CTD, to stop selling SUR's, jacking prices and not completing orders for customers. So I guess that's my gripe with them.
