Yeah I knew up front that they were on backorder. The order confirmation email said the ETA was 2/26. As fast as things are going downhill, I'm just hoping the order doesn't get canx'd before then. I had actually bid on some some Butler Creek "steel lips" but TPTB on eBay sent me a notice later in the day that "the auction had been pulled, sorry Charlie."

Ammo of all types is hard to come by around us. Forget finding 5.56. 9mm is also a little hit or miss, but I did score this at local Wally work this evening.

I went to my LGS today to get some cleaning supplies and asked the kid behind the counter if he had any .22lr. He said no but then started looking around and looked on the bottom shelf and came up with a 500rd brick of american eagle 40gr solid. $23.99+ tax. Didnt really need it but bought it. No telling when I will see a brick for that price again besides I really like Federal 510 ammo and this stuff is the same thing repackaged.(I think) Left the gun shop happy, happy.

Stopped into one of my local shops today and as usual they had all the ammo I needed. Picked up a case of .45ACP, 9mm and .40S&W all priced about what it was last time I was in. They are a high volume seller and typically have pallets of ammo stacked to the ceiling...their wall racks for rifles was just about empty however.

eBay sent me yet another notice sometime after midnight that the 4th auction I had a bid in had been cancelled. But I managed to pick up one Butler Creek "steel lips" mag just before the axe fell for a whoppin' $37.

Sportsman's Warehouse had a small stack of American .22LR 38 gr (500 rds) and .22LR CCI 40 gr (375 rds). I picked up 4 boxes of the CCI.

It is almost empty shelves.

OP, try targetsportsusa.com. They seem well stocked with most everything, and free shipping on case quantities.......never mind, they're not accepting new orders until they catch up.
I bought 3 boxes of CCI standard velocity for my old High/Standard pistol for $10.00 yesterday, No shortage yet....Might get a couple more, don't shoot it much but may want to...
