From what I've been reading from places like Midway, Natchez, ect, sounds like the prices are going up after the first of the year anyway, like they do every year.

Default I try to be ready

I never was one to wait till the crap hits the fan before taking care of my needs. Ammo will last a very long time if stored properly. I expect my grand kids will finish shooting up my stock after I'm gone. That is unless I get that .22 conversion for the M-11 select fire.

Looks like we're gonna have to start hand loading .22lr.

I have not been able to find .22 ammo for over 3 weeks now. There's plenty 30-.06 and 7mm rem mag available. I seen one box of .223 at Walmart today for $30

Ammo prices here are the same. But right now Midway has the factory Ruger 10/22 BX-25 (25rd) mags on sale for $21.99 plus S/H. Everything I've read says you can't do any better and eBay sellers are asking no less than $60.

So has anyone used the CCI "Quiet" .22LR? Midway also advertised this for $2.49/50 (I think)

The mags are on back order. I wanted to get some before Christmas but decided to wait and now who knows when they will be back in. They are good to lock in at that price if you have cash to sit on though.
