I would never shop there again, and I would make sure as many local gun owners as possible knew that this was going on. That's rediculous!

My local WalMart sat out 90 or so boxes yesterday (20 round American Eagle .223 FMJBT) for $8.06 a box. I'm not sure how long it lasted but, it was the first time in quite awhile I've seen that on the shelf...still no .22LR though.

I will continue to buy ammo at Walmart. They are the only ones i have seen that did not take advantage of the price gouging. And yes they are starting to get increased shipments and ammo variety. I stop in and check the shelves every couple days. They have been getting almost all kinds of ammo.....just maybe only a box or 2 though...
Im being patient

I am glad I stocked up on ammo years ago.

Local hardware store got in 3 of the 400 rnd boxes of American Eagle .22lr and has them at $37 a box. I can see the new price tag over the old one where it was $31 on the shelf. Mixed feelings about that. At least they have a few rounds but at almost .10 a round for so so ammo I doesn't entice me go buy it. Not that desperate yet.....

Got 3 boxes of American Eagle .223 50gr varmint tipped at Walmart this morning for $11.23 a piece. They are limiting you to 3 boxes of ammo per day. All they had was 6 boxes of it so I just got lucky. Shelves are pretty dang empty.

I stocked up to my minimum inventory of at least 1000 rounds of SD calibers and plenty of 38 & 357 for my revolvers. While building the inventory, I slowly added to the .22LR even though it was plentiful and cheap. Glad I did, cause I just scored another 1000 Rounds of Ely for an ungodly price.

One local spot finally took everything off restriction, except .22 They got 20,000 rounds in on Thursday, and Friday morning were sold out. I was lucky though, when it all started to head south I ordered 3000 rounds of CCI MINIMAG. Just got 1000 on Friday and another 1000 are en route. I've noticed local folks reselling .22 for about $125 per 1000.
