I used to pay 19.99 for federal bulk at Wal-Mart, but haven't had it in a while, our local farm supply had them for 15.99 last summer with not limit so I bought 12 of them, someone said they saw them at Wal-Mart recently for 21.97 a box but we still don't have any at our local wally yet.

I wouldn't bother with a brick. I would get at least 1500 rounds. It's to easy to run through a 100 rounds before you even realize it. My niece loves to shoot my 22 rifles. I can't just turn her loose with a 550 round bulk box. She will shoot it up before I can finish a peanut butter sandwich. Just kidding but she will shoot 550 rounds pretty quick.

Yeah, I know the feeling, I take my buddies I work with shooting once in a while, and I'm the only one with guns and therefore I'm the only one with ammo, and only one of them ever throws me some money for the ammo they shoot up, and on the 22 and .223 they seem to shoot it as fast as they can lol, they can burn up some ammo pretty fast, I've got a .50 cal ammo can almost full to the top and have gotten smart I only take a little bit and tell them when its gone you'll have to shoot something else lol. I guess I'm too nice of a friend, but even I've been known to shoot as fast as I can, its fun what can I say.

That's why I love shooting 22 it's just soooo cheap and it's pretty fun even though its a small rifle

We have LGSs sending out employees buying up ammo as soon as it is brought out of the stock room...Then they mark it up for resale..........

Seriously? Next time I would say, "OK, I'm bringing the guns, you guys bring the ammo." Fair is fair. Let them find out how much the stuff they've been shooting costs.
