I really liked the gun, it was the savage 93R17 SS. I had the scope on it that compensated for the ballistics of the round.

Have you considered the new CZ455 it comes w 2 barrels. Usually 22 LR and 17 but I imagine you could negotiate or buy all 3. $532 for 2 MSRP

I bought a Bruno ZKM 611 TD 20 years ago. This came with 4 magazines. I paid $350 dollars for the little .22 mag semi auto. Hell the magazines alone are worth over a $100 dollars each. CZ took over Bruno and dropped the 611 they are rare and expensive now.

That's a bad ass gun. I would love to have a semi auto .22 mag.

Vash, yes this one takes down. It all goes into a fitted bag about 20" long. It is a great little back country rifle.

I think they both will be here a long time
own one of each, both marlins and very pleased with both as a varmint getter

I agree that the 22 mag is more usefull than the .17
