You can get the standard 522 for right at $500.00. I put a Sightmark holographic on it for $35.00 and it is good somewhat inexpensive plinker!

I got my Ruger 10/22 Carbine for around $250 it has never let me down. I can shoot through the same hole at 50 yds. I have put probably over 1000 rounds through it with about 5 jams (cheap ammo). Best $250 I ever spent!

I picked mine up for just over $450, new. I've since added a Vortex Strikefire Green/Red Dot Scope, Pachmeyer Grip Sleeve, and a Magpul AFG Grip. Great Gun!

FYI, they don't come with ANY Iron Sights at all. Those can be purchased as an Optional Accessory.

Cheers!

Nice! I'd probably add a red dot if I got one down the line.

9.3 lbs. Lol. Heaviest .22 I've ever shot.
That's with the 2 joined 35 round mags inserted.

It has to be my old 1950s Marlin Mountie.

That is heavy, but a .22 isn't a self defense or WROL gun IMO, so weight really isn't that big of an issue.

My favorite is my Ruger Mark III 22/45 LITE.
My 10/22 is sweet also.
