My CZ with suppressor (small cheap suppressor, I might add) and subsonics makes less noise than my paintball markers and CO2 air pistol.
I chose the CZ originally because it comes threaded for a suppressor and milled for scope rings, is a detachable-magazine fed bolt action (no noise from the action when you fire) and has a great reputation for reliability and accuracy for small-game shooting - specifically to use as a scoped silent killer for pest control.
Being able to buy a 10-shot mag for it was a bonus, I would have made do with a spare 5-shot.
None of the serious small-game hunters I've met have ever had a bad thing to say about the "Brno" (as it's commonly called here).
Having owned two (first one got stolen), I agree that they are great rifles.
