BTW, in another post you mentioned your S&W 2206, now that is good .22 pistol. I had one and it ate everything I would throw in it, extremely accurate, and just fun to shoot. A few years ago my house was broken into and it got stolen, hoping someone will run across it someday and get it back to me :-(

I bought a used - like new - P22 about a year ago. My wife has fired about 200 rounds/week since of many brands. Never a problem with CCI, Aquila, Winchester, Remington, and a few problems with American Eagle (usually FTfire}. The American Eagle 40 gr.SP were an absolute nightmare for my M&P 15-22. Both love Aquila Super Extra 40 gr. SPs and 38gr. HV HPs.

You experts are amazing! The thread is about "What .22 lr fireamrs to avoid" Ref: P22, still shoots well (not as accurate as a Ruger sr22p, even for the new P22 owner but occassiionally when running cheap dirty .22lr ammo will FTF. The CCI miniMags work 100% in the Ruger SR22P (2hand, indoor, 1-2" groups at 15yards).

I once owned a 7-shot .22 revolver made by Imperial somewhere in the Carolinas...
The cylinder would rock from side to side just enough to shave off a very thin line of lead from the really cheap .22 ammunition I was shooting at the time.
It was pretty accurate up to about 15 feet ~ it would almost hit a gallon milk jug at that distance...

Them fellows ever wonder what happens to those .22 rounds wherever they land...?
Or, on who...?

Ones held together with duct tape, ones made out of pipe in a garage, or one made by a 11 year old from an airsoft gun.
