My wife owns one of those and has put thousands or rounds through it over the years without any problem. Her Walther is our go to gun when we need a reliable .22..
I bought a simple Rossi single shot .22 and like the rifle BUT, out of the last 100 rounds I put through it, I had 3 failure to fire. The ammo was a bulk box of 333 rounds from Winchester. The strike to the rim looks solid but no boom. Next trip to the range I will try another brand of ammo.
