Even Glock and Kimber.

the remington 722 is a center fire rifle in 222-308. the remmington 721 is also a center fire rifle like the 722 only for long rounds 3006 ect. my guess is you picked a remington 541 which is a fine rifle as are the 513's. i have all of the 541 series and with target ammo on a good day get under 1 inch at 100 yards. if you do have aa 722 in .22 rim fire and would like to sell it let me know. thanks terry

With CCI "Mini Mag" ammo, I was getting 3/4 inch groups at 100 yards - with the cracked stock.

Sorry about your problem with that Walther. I bought one used and it was totally accurate and reliable. I bought a second magazine for it and it functions just as well with either one. I put it up against my friends' Ruger and they were about equal. I trust it. Maybe since you were the first to rent it, it hadn't been broken in. Most pistols need a break-in period.

My wife owns one of those and has put thousands or rounds through it over the years without any problem. Her Walther is our go to gun when we need a reliable .22..

I bought a simple Rossi single shot .22 and like the rifle BUT, out of the last 100 rounds I put through it, I had 3 failure to fire. The ammo was a bulk box of 333 rounds from Winchester. The strike to the rim looks solid but no boom. Next trip to the range I will try another brand of ammo.

First thing to do is run the same number through another gun. If it's the ammo, contact the manufacturerer and they will most likely replace the ammo for you. I had that happen with a certain lot of Federal Ammo. I emailed the company and they had me send the remaining rounds back to them. They then sent me a check for not only the cost of all the ammo, but the shipping costs. I tried another run of Federal, different grade or name on the box and had no problems.

I bought some ****ty ammo for my 30-06 and 1 outta 10 never fired. I had to cycle the misfires twice, was kind of scared to tell you the truth, never had that problem before.
