What .22 should i buy ????
My first eyes hit the mp5 GSG. I was like WOW that's a .22 ( new to guns). So my next gun was going to be ..... But then I seen that m&p 15-22. That's a pretty gun. And I have the m&p 9mm and the .22. So I was like well hell make it a set and get 3 S&W. and then I seen the Ruger sr.22. I like the weight and the look.
The m&p is kinda light. Is there other .22 that look that good I don't know about?

Things I would want in a .22

1) Eat any ammo I feed it.

2)Have Rails so I can add a lot of Add-ons

3)Looks. Has to look badass

4)Easy to clean and Maintain

5) price. $500 - $550ish

What do you think the best gun is out of these 5 wants in a gun ?

Can my m&p .22 handgun use the same clip than the 15-22 m&p ???

I have a Browning Buckmark, very nice shooting handgun, but it only likes CCI mini mags, which are very hard to come by these days. That being said, I rarely shoot the Buckmark, but I do shoot my 22 revolvers all the time. They will shoot anything and just keep on shooting. good luck

A friend has a Ruger sr.22 rifle. He really likes it. It eats all ammo brands that he has tried so far.

The M&P handgun does not use the same magazine as the rifle near as I can tell. However, the rifle gets rave reviews and is in your price range. Although their handguns are hit and miss (hur hur) I'm told the Chiappa AR-15 clone in .22 LR is actually pretty good as well.

The Ruger SR22 gets rave reviews. Another good one is the GSG 1911-22. I believe it is sold by ATI in the US.

The Beretta NEOS has a full length rail on the top and is a good little shooter. However, not sure you are looking for a target pistol. It's relatively cheap, but the Browning Buckmark is easily in your range. The Buckmark, Ruger III or 22/45, and NEOS are all good shooters and I would encourage you to check them out.

Shoot, if I had the funds for one, I'd personally like a Ruger 22/45 Lite.

Which 22lr...??
Ruger 10/22.... Great rifle, great customer service, aftermarket parts available for it out the WHA-Zoo!! (high-cap mags, stocks, scopes etc) and most of all American made!!!

You could buy an ugly ole beater of a 10/22 cheaply and doll it all up to give it the tacticool look you want and still have a firearm that can be upgraded to be come a very accurate shooter and not just a general use plinker. Then if or when the tactcal look is not favored you can make in back into a more practical .

A lot of the tacticool 22's aren't that great out of the box.

Best to start with a good Ruger 10/22, for the money you want to spend, you can get two and have different setups.

Marlin 925 or 25N.
