That's totally not a fair question pertaining to the subject (ha ha)! Do you plan on hiding and doing some sniping, or do you prefer going ballistic and shooting the **** outta things and not worry about running out of ammo (in the long run). Me personnaly I would hide out somewhere high (rooftop or hill) and take my time and make every shot count and save on ammo. Plus I would have my 500 strapped on for up close and personal ****.

River 10/22 all the way. The Remington doesn't even compare. And freedom group owns Remington...need I say more?

As for the marlin 60, it was my first .22 and was in NO way as accurate or as reliable as the 10/22. I did love it though.

25yds with my 10/22, the flyer was my fault.

Can I shoot the real quiet ammo from the 1022 if I cycle the bolt? You know the .22 that don't use powder just the primer?

Bolt action tube fed 22 are the best as far as versatility and ammo choice. You want to shoot subsonic, bird shot, short, long, hyper velocity, etc.

I've got a handful of 10/22s, a Marlin 60, two Marlin XT series, a couple of Savage 93s, and a Henry. Which one is the best our of the box? I'd have to say the Savage, but they are the ones that are high up Savages food chain, like BSEV models. Savages Accu Trigger is the best trigger of the bunch and the guns are the mos accurate out of the box. Now I've got a couple of 10/22s highly modified that will shoot circles around the Savage (full KIDD builds), but they are big buck rifles and should shoot better. It is amazing how much difference a good barrel and trigger job make on a 10/22. The most fun to shoot out of the bunch, the Henry, I just love that little lever action. A Marlin 60 is a good gun out of the box, just don't try and find any upgrade parts for it. It will probably out-shoot a 10/22 out of the box, but the Savage will out-shoot all of them.

There must be a range near you where they rent guns to shoot. Go there and shoot the 60, the 10/22, and the Savage 93. Which one Feels best to you? Buy IT!
