Default UTG Leapers Scopes on a 22?

I've spent some time with a new spring-air pellet gun recently (fun shooting in my back yard!) and the Leapers/UTG scopes are pretty popular in these circles.

As I have been told, these "springers" are rough on scopes - so if the optics can survive on a springer they *should* be able to last on other types of rifles. Has anyone tried them on their 22s? If so, what are your thoughts? So far I have been pretty impressed. It compares well to my Bushnell Banner on my 10/22 (IMHO).

Leapers 3-12x40

And here is my best grouping (top right) from 35 yards:

Should be ok on a .22lr...wouldn't expect it to survive much else...much of the Leapers/UTG gear is made for Airsoft or other low recoil rifles.

I have a UTG/Leapers 4X32 scope on my Savage FV-SR and it is working fine.

My setup is fairly new with just under 700 rounds through it but I have no complaints thus far. I'm getting groups the size of a quarter right now at 50 yards and I think it can do even better than that.

Do a search for the centerpoint optics, as they are pretty much the same. There are people using them on centerfires. I have 2 4-16x40s from Walmart, and wouldn't have a problem putting it on an AR, I will probably try it on a 7.62x39 upper and see what happens.

I mounted the UTG 3-9x32 Compact on my AK only 200 rds so far but it works great and with the quick detach mount it comes off in seconds.
