I have found that one round stays in the magazine when you remove the magazine tube and dump out rounds. You have to work the action to remove the last round. It doesn't drop out the tube like the rest. I have this situation on 3 rifles, 2 Henrys and a very old Winchester model 06. Is this typical of tube magazine 22s?

It does happen. One of the reasons I'm not a huge fan of tubes. It isn't supposed to happen. Replacing the springs may solve the issue. Numrich may have what you need.

I doubt that this will help. Two of the rifles are less than 6 months old. I guess we will have to see just how common this is from other owners. I don't think there are many lever action or pump action rifles, center fire or rim fire, that do not use tubes in one way or another.
