Most stores will not take back ammo because of liability issues; it has to do with their insurance coverage and the issue of someone trying to exchange ammo that was not really sold at the store to start with.

Once ammo is taken out of the store there is no way to actually guarantee that it is the same ammo that one just bought a few days ago from them, and if they take it back and someone else buys it and something happens to the shooter or their weapon, they the store can be held liable for it.

The last time I fired the rifle I was using High Velocity LR ammo (which worked great) and this time I bought a different kind by accident (which is longer). If I need to take it back that's fine it's just that I'm going to the range tomorrow morning. If you can add any info on different .22 ammo out there I would much appreciate it. Thanks!
You can use High Velo ammo...

Just not HYPER-Velo...

And defintly NOT .22-WMR or WRM It's a totally different bullet, won't even chamber.

Standard & lower power ammo you can use, they just may not cycle the bolt and you have to do it like a single-shot rifle.
