Tri-State Tactical 2009 Labor Day Rimfire Shootout

Inspired by CPT Tango, I had my 2009 Labor Day Rimfire Shootout today! I'd have liked to have had a better turnout, but then again, I'd have liked to have been home around Aug. 4th or the 6th like I was TOLD I was gonna be instead of getting home a little over a week ago.

Zack takes careful aim with his .22LR using open sights. Zack won first place in the shootout!

Dylan is about to squeeze off a round shooting his Davey Crickett .22LR using open sights.

Cody prepares his Davey Crickett .22LR w/ open sights while Zack and Dylan take a breather.

Dylan looks on while Cody finishes up his last few rounds.

It really was a lot of fun! There was a lot of shooting, hamburgers, hotdogs, and all the Gatorade we could drink!

Zack won the trophy. I'll post a pic of the trophy and the nifty idea I got for serving mass amounts of Gatorade soon!

Jerry, I don't give a damn what anybody says about you bro, but you did a damn good thing there in holding that Rimfire Shootout there, especially for them kids to get in on some shooting fun. No one put an eye out and everybody looks happy. You do have a heart under that callused shell. Kudos to you bro. :D

Great job! It's refreshing seeing parents pass our heritage on to the next generation of patriots!
