What would be your top 5 choices for a SHTF .22 semi-auto rifle, that would be adequate for self-defense and hunting purposes? (best to least best)

I have been a silent witness
to all of America's finest hours.
But my finest hour comes
when I am torn into strips and used as bandages
for my wounded comrades on the battlefield,
When I fly at half-mast to honor my soldiers,
Or when I lie in the trembling arms
of a grieving mother
at the graveside of her fallen son.

Remington 550-1 (since it shoots shorts, longs, and LR)
Browning SA22 (or the Norinco version...InterArms ATD .22)
maybe a Walther G22
(just a side note. I've never cared for Ruger. It's nothing against them, and I can't even tell you why honestly, they just don't excite me. I know many, many people love them and I have no real issue other than it's just not me.....almost like a Ford vs Chevy type mentality )
A good plan executed today is better than a perfect plan executed at some indefinite point in the future.
