Here's a sample of what a Savage MkIIBTV will do at 50 yards. This is a 5 shot group. It won't do it every time but it will get close to it often. 4 shots went into the hole at the end of the triangle. The whole group measured .2"
I have more but this should be enough to prove my point.

I quit posting targets years ago because nobody believed 'em...what an inexpensive Marlin rifle can do with just a few tweaks is phenominal!!
Fav Marlin Tweaks...
Pillar Bedding or Regular bedding, either way, cuts already tiny groups in HALF!!
Sling & Scope (No Frakkin TASCO, friends don't let friends use TASCO!)
Marlin Adjustable Target Sight (from Numrich for $10) is far better than the original equipment.
Polish the BOLT and Rails!! You do it for your 1911, you should do it for EVERY semi-auto you own!!!
Granted certain years are better than others (2005-2011 SUCKED), but they seem to be getting back on track
now that they're working with NEW CNC equipment...just gotta keep on top of the trained monkey's running the machines...lol!!
