i was offered a stevens savage model 310 in 17hmr from one of my friends. it has never been fired. the rifle costs 150 dollars. is that a reasonable price? and have any of you guys had any experience with this gun?

Reasonable price. Not a deargodgivehimthemoneyNOW price, but reasonable.
The 17 HMR is a fun target/varmint round. Ammo is $12-16/ 50 rounds. Savage makes nice rifles. The mag release is kinda cheesy, but the rifle itself is decent.
