Whats the age on stevens Mod. ? 70?

Made Between 1907 to the 1930's. Value $150 to $200 in fair condition. Good luck finding the Tube. Wills in da swamp in La. God bless

Looks alot like a Winchester Model 90. Wonder if the magazine tube is the same diameter? Doesn't Taurus make a clone? Wonder if that would fit? Probably would have to be cut down in length though!

It is a J. Stevens No.70 Visible Loading, slide action rifle. You might give Jack First Inc. in Rapid City, So. Dakota a try. There are others, but they are usually my first go to for obsolete parts.......

any way to narrow down the date of the rifle. i have looked and seen that alot of these same guns have serial numbers that are 4-5 numbers long and mine is y811. does that mean that it is a earlier model?I am just really curious about the date now

Nice old gun, I used to have one years ago. Try gun accessory safe self defense at gunparts.com, they may have one.
