Years ago, there was an article in the Wall Street Journal about a restaurant in Beijing that specialized in farm-raised rat dishes. A coworker and I tried to get them on the phone to see if we could order a recipe book for squirrels; unfortunately, the international operator translating for us informed us that the contact number was only a messenger service.

I haven't had tree rat in many, many years.

Do people hunt coyotes for fun? If you dont eat it then why do people hunt coyote? Id like to know thanx
In this area coyotes are not a natural predator. Coyotes compete with our endangered red wolf. Coyotes deplete small game populations. Coyotes also are barnyard predators.

It is well known coyotes have no problems living among humans. They live in the cities and they are well known to rural farmers. We used to be able to have free range chickens in this area. Since coyotes have come into town you have to be a sharp chicken trainer to have free range chickens.

Keeping the squirrel hunting thread going.

Tarzan had been living alone in his jungle kingdom for 30 years
with only apes for company, and suitably shaped holes in trees
for sex.
Jane, a reporter, came to Africa in search of this legendary
figure.
Deep in the wilds she came to a clearing and discovered
Tarzan vigorously hip thrusting into a jungle oak.

She watched in awe for a while.

Finally, overcome by this display of animal passion, Jane came out into the open and offered herself to him.

First she disrobed provocatively, then she reclines on this old fallen tree log, spreading her legs in an obvious invitation.

Tarzan walked up to her, drew his leg back and gave her a great big kick in the crotch.

In excruciating pain she screamed, "What the hell did you do
that for..?"

"Squirrels, just checking for Squirrels"..

Squirrels are cute at that age. If you are going to keep grey squirrels in the house they need to be socialized like a dog. Squirrels are defensive of their territory. Just like a unsocialized dog squirrels will attack visitors. I had a grey squirrel for a couple years that got out of hand. Luckily we lived in a rural area. I was able to turn him loose outdoors for a few hours at a time until he went off on his own.
