Default Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22

Went to my LGS a couple days ago and came across a used (like new) S&W MP 15-22. I was looking to buy new but didn't really want to spend $450+ for one. So I'm excited because I got this one for $275.00 out the door. Had the front/rear sights and muzzle brake. I believe I got a great deal also scored over 1500rds of .22lr last week at walmart and farm&fleet.

bean,

After many years of procrastinating and shooting some friends S&W 15-22s and wanting one. I finally broke down and got one two weeks ago. They are a fine little rifle and you did get a great deal. And WOW! on the 22 ammunition. I ordered 5000 rounds a month ago and will have to set back and wait for them. Should not ever run out when they get here. Of course I have some help with the Children and Grandchildren coming down and helping dad and gramps shoot them up! But what fun! I would not take anything for the time with them. And they are going to love this little S&W 15-22 next trip! But back to the point lets see some pics and range reports when you get it out. I did pay $399 for mine with the front and rear removable sight and comp. SO you did real GOOD!
Have fun and enjoy! Waiting on the Pictures!

Default Congrats!

Looks like a nice little rifle bean1, I really like the ease at which you can load up those magazines.

I'm sure there will be plenty of skepticism but I swear my LGS had stacks of them nib for $250 a few weeks ago.

They had the Magpul ones with a scope for $350... Had I known they were normally $400+ I would have swiped the card on one or two

I guess it's due to lack of availability of 22 lr.

I know they don't ship but if anyone local wants the store number I can PM it to you. They are in Louisville.

I have an MOE model to go with a bunch of AR 's including a DPMS in .22 LR. The little M&P is about as much or more fun to shoot than any of the others, just remember it is a plinker and not a match gun out of the box. It is funny displaying photos of .22 ammo and I guess indicative of the times, I keep tens of thousands on the shelf and have for 40 years but did not realize I was a "hoarder". Grand kids need a .22 to shoot when they visit grand pa......I think that is written into the Constitution somewhere :-)
Shoot your 15-22, enjoy, and then add accessories when they are well thought out. Thus you will save yourself bunches of money on stuff that eventually would later fill the parts drawer.
