Default Sig 1911 .22 vs. Colt 1911 .22

Which do you think is better quality and a better shooter? Also, the price of the Sig is around $400, and the Colt is $450-500. Are these worth the price?

The Colt actually breaks down like a 1911.

The Sig requires a cap screw to be removed to release the slide and barrel from the receiver.

IMHO the Colt is worth the premium.

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

canebreak makes a very valid point. I have shot both pistols that belong to friends. The one with the Sig after shooting the Colt wished he waited and bought the Colt. Besides an easier takedown the Colt feels like it has better build quality.
