Losing all those years of shooting those little .22's was very stupid of me, but better late than never. I can't explain it, but the feel of a pump action .22 can't be compared to anything else where I'm concerned. It also brings me back a little to when I was just a know nothing kid.

Absolutely gorgeous gun! I've always wanted a pump .22, particularly a Winchester. Very, very nice.

I have a few favorite 22 plinkers/hunters.

In the rifle dept. it's a toss up between the highly accurate Ruger 10/22 Target with the factory hammer forged barrel that I bought the first year production and my fast handling Remington 552 bdl speedmaster that I picked up back in 87'

As far as the 22 handgun plinkers?
I have a blast with a Ruger mkII competition target model, off the bench scoped the mkII competition will out shoot a lot of 22 rifles,it actually out shoots my 552 speedmaster from the bench.

50 yard 10 shot group, shot from the 10/22T off the bench.

Very nice guns! I really like the looks of that Browning and I really want one of those break tops ever since I shot one.

my two favorite rimfire rifles. a Marlin model 60 that i refinished. made in about 1980 or 1981. still shoot great.

my Savage M93r17 that i have upgraded with a Boyd's laminated stock, a rifle Basix trigger sear, and wears a BSA Sweet 17 6-18x40 scope. shoots like a laser!

Thank you GR,
I believe this Ruger mkII competition target is a first year production of the model.
