For it's own design, it is wonderful. For the feel of a 94 is fails.
The lever stroke is quite short, 22lr length, instead of the longer 30-30 length.
It is slimmer and lighter than the 94 in 30-30.

Where it fails as a 94 it now excels as the 9422. It is wonderfully made, light, accurate, and handy as heck in the field.

It holds a bunch of rounds and keeps shooting. I am not as fond of a tubular magazine, as compared to a detachable box magazine, but the tubular magazine has the capacity and is slim to the stock and barrel.

I hope that everyone has a chance to shoot one in their lifetime.

I know what you mean. I'm always getting folks at the range asking to try mine when I use the conversion on my Pro CDP II.

As far as plinking goes my favorite .22 is a 1937 vintage Winchester model 62. While growing up I enjoyed shooting those gallery pumps at the Coney Island arcade. I waited too many years to get one of those .22's because of course I was a man who had to have the big boy toys. Losing all those years of shooting those little .22's was very stupid of me, but better late than never. I can't explain it, but the feel of a pump action .22 can't be compared to anything else where I'm concerned. It also brings me back a little to when I was just a know nothing kid.
