Wish I never sold my Charter Arms AR-7, maybe I'll run across one again some day, very fun rifle to have.

I had one in my mid Teens when as a Boy Scout and then Explorer, I volunteered with the Civil Air Patrol. It went on Every Flight I did until the service.

An older one was $199(I was tempted because I need something the wife can shoot in a 22LR Rifle, or else she needs a collapsible stock) The newer ones were $239, $249, and $265( which came with a bag, and 3 Mags,2-8 rounders, and one 15 rounder),. I Really wanted the Digital Gray Camo 10/22...

I bought one a couple years ago, paid $100 for it. with bulk ammo it became a straight pull bolt action, you had to use high velocity stuff for it to be able to cycle the action & cross your fingers it didn't jam. I tried all the tricks people online were doing, nothing seemed to help & I never did find ammo it liked so I sold it. I have other .22's & no use for a gun that doesn't work like it should, no matter how cool it looked

I have lots of "plinkers," but this Savage-Anschutz 54 Sporter is my favorite.

That's a beautiful gun. I love the stock and the general outline of the gun.

The Anschutz Model 1518 Mannlicher .22 mag with Weatherby scope is a tack driver. My 100 yard groups are equal to the larger calibres I shoot.
