Awesome! I'm thinking a Savage .17 may be my next purchase.

i love the accuracy of my Savage M93r17. i bought mine about ten years ago, so it doesn't have the AccuTrigger and at the time, the only heavy barreled versions were with the synthetic stocks. riflle shot great from the beginning, but i had a problem with the LOP from the get go. it was too short and i always felt like i was shooting a youth's gun. several years ago, i decided to change the stock to a laminated one so it would be easier to add a recoil pad to change the LOP. i bought a Boyd's laminated Prairie Hunter in nutmeg. got it installed, and lo and behold! rifle fit me more likean adult rifle than a kid's gun now! changing the stock to one that fit me much better made a world of difference in the enjoyment of shooting that rifle. the stock added weight, and now it feels more solid. i also don't have to struggle to shoot it accurately now because the rifle fits me.

so i highly recommend the Savage M93 in 17 HMR, but check the LOP. i don't know if the factory laminates are longer than the synthetic stocks or not, but at the time i bought mine, there weren't many laminated versions to choose from. if you can't find one that fits you, consider buying the cheapest version and then buying a Boyd's stock for it. it would be the best $100 spent on the rifle.

Default My ATI GSG MP 44 Sturmgewher Clone

Same weight as the real MP 44. Eats everything I feed it including crummy Remington Bulk pack. Groups about 2" @ 50 yards. Only complaint is the rear sight has to be put at 6 to hit at 50 yards but I can live with that. I do not have a close up photo of mine yet but it is the same as in Buddy Hinton's photo less the tee shirt. Mine is the one below.

I would like to add to this thread since my 22's are really some of favorite firearms. Fairly cheap to shoot when you find ammo and you don't have to chase brass. My M4 22 lr. carbine. Imported by Umarex, made by Walther and labeled Colt.

Everybody needs at least one Ruger 10-22 IMHO.

Very nice rifle! I really would like to have an AR .22 at some point. I have a 1911 Government Model .22 made by them and I love it.
